Steps to Apply for IBPS Clerk 2025

- Register using personal details, phone number and email address
- Complete the registration by filling personal details and contact. details
- After successful registration, you will receive a registration ID and password.
- Login with your registration id and password and confirm with Captcha
- Click on login button, fill details and fill registration form.
- Pay the required registration fee online.
- Save the completed application form and keep it for future reference.

IBPS Clerk 2025 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the IBPS Clerk Exam 2025, the candidate needs to meet these three requirements:
IBPS Clerk Nationality / Citizenship
A candidate must fit into one of the following criteria to be eligible for the IBPS Clerk Exam:
- Be an Indian citizen.
- Be a citizen of Nepal.
- Be a citizen of Bhutan.
- Be a Tibetan Refugee who arrived in India before January 1st, 1962, with plans to live here permanently.
- Be a person of Indian origin who moved to India from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of settling down here for good.
IBPS Clerk Educational Qualification
A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate should possess a certificate as proof of passing the qualifying examination. The candidate must possess a valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate that he/ she is a graduate on the day he/she registers and indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation while registering online.
Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute.
Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT) for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable.
IBPS Clerk Age Limit
For the IBPS Clerk Exam 2025, the candidate’s age should be between 20 to 28 years. A candidate must have been born not earlier than provided dates.

IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern 2025
The IBPS Clerk exam happens in two main parts: Prelims and Mains. Both of these tests are taken online. Here’s how the exam is set up:

The first stage of the IBPS CRP CSA-XV is the preliminary online exam. This test evaluates a candidate’s skills in reasoning, intellect, and English. The exam has three sections, and candidates need to achieve a minimum score in each section to move on to the next round, which is the mains exam. For each of these sections, candidates have 20 minutes to answer the questions. The total marks for the exam are 100, and to pass, candidates need to reach a score set by IBPS. IBPS Clerk Mains Exam Pattern 2025
The Exam Pattern for IBPS Clerk 2025 hasn’t changed. The IBPS Clerk Mains Exam will now have 190 questions that must be answered within 160 minutes. In the past, Computer Aptitude and Reasoning Ability sections were separate. But, IBPS has combined them in a recent update. These two sections will now have 50 questions to be solved in 45 minutes. Negative Marking: When you give wrong answers in both the preliminary and mains exams, you’ll face a penalty. If your answer is wrong for an objective question, you’ll lose one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question. But if you leave a question blank or don’t answer it, there won’t be any penalty.
Calculating the final score for the IBPS Clerk exam works like this:
- Marks from the Preliminary Exam’s Phase-1 are not counted for the final selection.
- You have to clear Phase-2 to be considered for the final ranking.
- An aggregate score out of 100 is used to create the final merit list for each category. Those with the highest scores in each category are chosen in the end.
